Remember your why.
When the mental block
Knocks you to the ground.
Taste dust.
Wipe it with your palm.
Remember.
People gather beyond the wall
Of your mind
Begging.
Yes, once you were nothing.
Now you must show
Them scars
Shared.
Failure lives in our marrow.
So does divinity. Remember.
Love from a Fellow Creative
There are so many times I feel like I’ve failed. I see other women handle life with such poise and grace that I start to believe that because I failed, I am a failure. Recently, God reminded me that our weaknesses are not our identity, but a reminder of our need to depend on Him and His strength for every situation. We were never meant to outgrow our need for God. We can have courage to try, even if we think we’ll fail, because it won’t mean that we are failures—it just means we may need to try more than once to succeed!

Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you. —Deuteronomy 31:6 MSG
